European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2026: 9-11 June 2026

The 20th edition of European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will take place on 9-11 June 2026 in Brussels and online, under the overarching theme of ‘A clean, secure and competitive Energy Union’.    

Registrations are open for both onsite participation at the Charlemagne building of the European Commission and NH Brussels EU Berlaymont hotel, and online participation.

During registration, each participant can define their profile and choose whether to appear in the networking area and being able to connect, send messages and have 1:1 meetings online on the platform or onsite. 

About EUSEW

The European Sustainable Energy Week is the biggest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe, and it features: a 3-day Policy Conference; the EUSEW Awards ceremony celebrating the people, projects, and initiatives advancing Europe’s transition to clean and sustainable energy; networking opportunities at the Energy Fair.

A highlight of the conference will be a high-level panel on 9 June bringing together former European Commissioners Andris Piebalgs, Günther Oettinger, Miguel Arias Cañete and Kadri Simson, alongside Commissioner Dan Jørgensen, to reflect on how Europe’s energy priorities have evolved and what comes next in a changing geopolitical and economic context. 

The EUSEW Awards 2026 Ceremony will take place on the same day at 10h00 CET, in Brussels and online. It will award outstanding individuals and projects for their innovation and efforts in the field of energy efficiency and renewables in three categories: Local  Energy  Action, Women in Energy, and, SMEs Driving Energy Efficiency.  

The three days will be animated by 50 policy sessions and onsite participants will have the oppotunity to visit the Energy Fair, a platform to showcase activities in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy.

Every year EUSEW also extend across Europe and beyond through the Sustainable Energy Days (SED). Locally organised events, held between March and June, bringing clean and renewable energy debate closer to communities, can claim the title of Sustainable Energy Day.

The Policy Conference will gather policymakers, innovators and energy stakeholders to discuss innovations and the future of clean energy in Europe.
