REGIONAL FORUM
ON RESEARCH
AND INNOVATION

Regione Lombardia has appointed the 10 experts on technological and scientific advances with an impact on innovation of the society and the economy

With the resolution of the Regional Council of November 21, 2022, the 10 experts have been appointed for the Regional Forum for Research and Innovation, an independent scientific organization with advisory, propositional and informative functions.

The members of the Regional Forum were selected by a technical assessment committee, composed of experts in matters relating to regional policies on research and innovation, from the names that responded to the International Call launched by the Lombardy Region in January 2022.

The Forum remains in office for 3 years. It meets at least 4 times a year, including by telematic means. Its activities will start on January 01, 2023 until December 31, 2025.

The ten experts will support Regione Lombardia in policy making relating to research and innovation, in areas such as:

RRI, Responsible Research and Innovation; STS, Science and Technologies Studies; Public Communication of Science; Participative and deliberative methods; Public Engagement; Social innovation; Social impact and social impact assessment; Sociology of risk; Sociology of science; Technology assessment and governance; Open Innovation; Open science; Open Data; Data Ethics; Bioethics; Education; Law applied to new technologies; Sustainable Development; Technology Transfer.
