“Lombardia è Ricerca” (Lombardy is Research) Award: nominate the most significant discovery now

Nominations can now be submitted for the sixth edition of the EUR 1 million “Lombardia è Ricerca” (Lombardy is Research) International Award, promoted by the Lombardy Region.

Until 31 July 2023, all scientists listed in the Scopus database with an H-index of at least 10 can nominate a research project they consider particularly innovative and significant for the topic chosen for the 2023 edition: ‘Innovative models for treatment, therapy and prevention’.

The “Lombardia è Ricerca” (Lombardy is Research) International Award will be assigned by a Jury of 15 top scientists selected via the Scopus system and will be presented to the winner (or winners) at the next Research Day.

The Research Day is the event promoted by the Lombardy Region and the Umberto Veronesi Foundation on the anniversary of the death of the oncologist, to spread and enhance the results of scientific research.

The 2023 award ceremony will take place on November 8 at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
